In order to maintain and care for the internal mechanisms of your Heritage clothesline, you can lubricate the worm gear and handle assembly by performing the following:
1. Wind Hoist to full height and apply approximately 1 teaspoon of oil through the small hole in the secondary standard (795 in diagram below).
2. Apply a few drops of oil through the oil hole in gear case above the handle shaft. Use any light grade motor oil or lanolin based oil.
