Follow these steps:
- Place the spreader and the hinge assembly on a flat surface
- Pull the latch out firmly (Fig. 3.)
- Pull the hinge out about 12mm, towards yourself (not upwards)
- Hold the latch out
- Rotate the hinge to the open position until you feel the latch click into place (Fig.4.)
Hot Tips
If you are having trouble rotating, you can add a ‘leg’ to provide leverage.
There will be a lot of resistance from the latch until it is worn in.
